Conditions like we’ve been having this past winter are just about unheard of in the Inland Northwest. This time last year, we were still under a few feet of snow. Last month, I took a short drive up to Spokane, WA to meet some local riders I had met over some messages exchanged right here on Pinkbike.
I had a great time behind the camera, as did they ripping the trails they have been riding all winter. Video inside!
After a crazy fortnight with no wheels, apart from a new 24″ rigid bike and being poorly sick two weekends in a row – Cross training became a large focus of the fortnight, with the wattbike clocking up the miles inside the house!

After a long morning of bike building at the shop, I met up with the crew to test out the new ride! It ended up raining on and off, but everyone threw down and enjoyed a fun session at the step-up!
