Like many people in Ontario I enjoy slopestyle, dirt jump, and freeride aspects of our sport. Upon reading the article about the Goat Style Jam in Creston B.C., thoughts about organizing a slopestyle event in Ontario started brewing.

I started by emailing several places asking if they would be interested in hosting such an event. As many of you probably know, any type of freestyle riding is very under appreciated in Ontario. I only received one reply. It was from Chicopee Bike Park and they said that they were open to the idea if I could get the plan to be feasible. So…the planning began.
