I’m sure most of you have seen those images, showing the step by step progression from ape to man. Believe it or not, but that could very well be true, as we do share a lot of things, and a lot of ties have been made. Progression is the refinement, and advancement of a specific item. It could be the progression from the pitch fork, to the table fork, or the bucket to the spoon, progression is the slow process of developing something. In our situation, that something is the mountain bike, and the sport.

Following on the overwhelming success of last year’s Mt. Sima Slamfest, the dirt crew from the North have pulled out all the stops to serve up a 3-day festival of riding and racing for 2009. Slamfest II unleashes an all-new machine built DH course, XC race as well as Mad March Racing on location with skills camps, a cash purse for podium racers, beer gardens and a lot more.

July 31 – August 2. Whitehorse, Yukon will be the place to ride.
